Stephanie is a board-certified veterinary anatomic pathologist with a PhD in biomedical sciences. She has extensive experience and expertise evaluating ophthalmic drugs, animal models of ocular disease, ocular administration techniques, ocular implants, and ocular devices. She also has a broad background in general/systemic toxicity study evaluations (biologics, small molecules, and cell and gene therapies), and characterization of animal disease models (particularly neuromuscular diseases). Stephanie is passionate about advancing the field of toxicologic pathology and contributing to the development of novel and safe therapies for human and animal health.

Stephanie earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Wilson College in 2006, a D.V.M. from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012, completed an anatomic pathology residency at Auburn University in 2016, and obtained a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University in 2020.
